After three years of independent software
development it became clear that the balkanized real estate information services were
dominated by legacy players who had no interest in actually serving the interests of the
consumer.
There are some interesting services such as Redfin that may help to change that,
but American consumers, at least, will probably not see big changes in the way real estate
is sold in the near future.
